A benz-isothiazolinone based biocide, for wet-state preservation of a wide range of aqueous formulations especially those of alkaline pH. Intercide BIT 20 does not have bi-valent salts which occasionally present problems associated with polymer cross-linking in sensitive emulsion systems.
