The blend of ingredients in Intercide BTX108 include BethoguardTM and 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-isothiazolin-3-one (DCOIT), the product is designed to provide fungicidal protection and resistance to algal growth. Intercide BTX108 has good resistance to UV and water leaching, which renders the product suitable for use in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications based on calendaring, extrusion and spread coating production techniques. The addition levels for Intercide BTX108 are in the range of 1.25% of the total formulation for indoor applications increasing to 1.8 – 2.5% for more demanding outdoor applications.
