The blend of ingredients in Intercide BTX208 which include BethoguardTM and Zinc Pyrithione are designed to provide bacteriostatic as well as fungicidal protection, the product used at the correct level will also retard algal growth. Intercide BTX208 has good resistance to water leaching and as such it suitable for use in a wide range of applications. The bacteriostatic activity is particularly suited to a use in PVC formulations intended for indoor use. The addition levels for Intercide BTX208 are in the range of 1.25% increasing to 2.5% for the more demanding applications.
