The OIT active in Intercide OBF10SPC is encapsulated in a polycaprolactone/ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer system. It is designed to provide fungicidal protection and resistance to algal growth. Intercide OBF10SPC has good resistance UV and is used in a wide variety of applications based on calendaring and extrusion production techniques. OIT is incorporated into Intercide OBF10SPC at the level of 10% and as such the addition levels recommended for OBF10SPC are in the range of 1.0% rising to 2.0% for the more demanding applications.
Intercide OBF10SPC can be readily incorporated into the formulation at the mixing or the
Compounding stage and is compatible with a variety of polymer systems including PVC, PVC:Nitrile co-polymer and PE.
