The OIT active in Intercide OBF8DINP is designed to provide fungicidal protection and resistance to algal growth. Intercide OBF8DINP has good resistance UV but its modest resistance to water leaching renders the product most suitable for use in a wide variety of indoor applications based on calendaring, extrusion and spread coating production techniques. OIT is incorporated into Intercide OBF8DINP at the level of 8% and as such the addition levels recommended for OBF8DINP are in the range of 1.25% rising to 2.50% for the more demanding applications.
Intercide OBF8DINP can be readily incorporated into the PVC formulation at the mixing or the
Compounding stage.
