Akcrostab ABC-6A is a tin-based metal low activity rate stabilizer/blowing agent catalyst for azodicarbonamide containing PVC foams. It functions as an activation retarder, slowing the release of nitrogen from the foaming agent. Applicable to knife, reverse-roll, calendered, extruded and closed mold processes. ABC-6A retards nitrogen release below 370°F. It can be used in combination with ABC-2 or ABC-1A to produce a very fine cell structure.
