Eccles, worldwide headquarters for Akcros Chemicals, is a diversified manufacturing and research centre, which also houses administrative and business management functions for the global concern. The foundation of the chemical manufacture that takes place today on the Eccles site dates back to 1937 when one of the founders of a predecessor company relocated from Germany to found his business concern on the site. Akcros Eccles now spans 37 acres and is located on the northern bank of the ManchesterShip Canal. Eccles represents the principle manufacturing and research site for a wide range of Additives from Stabilisers and Epoxy Plasticisers to Biocides and Bonding Agents. The site has high standards of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance recognised through ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certification. Akcros employs just over 100 people at its Eccles Site.
Akcros Chemicals supports the principles of achieving 'best practice' within each operation and is committed to the Responsible Care Program of the Chemical Industries Association.

New Brunswick represents an integrated business centre and manufacturing complex in the North Eastern United States, which serves as the principal location for Akcros Chemicals in North America. The facility manufactures and markets stabilisers and biocides for the plastics industry and coatings additives. ISO 9002 certification was achieved in 1995 and the site achieved ISO 14001 registration in 2001. The complex occupies 10 acres and the company employs approximately 50 full-time personnel.
Akcros Chemicals Inc. combines businesses that have been serving North American industry, in particular the Plastics Industry, for more than 60 years. With exports to all the Americas and Asia Pacific regions, Akcros Chemicals New Brunswick has a significant presence in the global Additives market.
