Intercide ABF2DIDP-LOIntercide ABF2DIDP-LO consists of a 2% solution of OBPA in Di-isodecyl phthtalate (DIDP). It gives excellent protection to plasticised PVC against a wide spectrum of fungi and bacteria. The liquid form is particularly advantageous for both paste PVC formulations and for flexible compounds based on suspension grade PVC. Intercide ABF2DIDP-LO has been specially formulated to have a low volatility and be low in odour. The recommended addition level for Intercide ABF2DIDP-LO is 1.5% of the total plasticised PVC formulation for indoor applications and 2.5% for outdoor applications.
Intercide BTX208The blend of ingredients in Intercide BTX208 which include BethoguardTM and Zinc Pyrithione are designed to provide bacteriostatic as well as fungicidal protection, the product used at the correct level will also retard algal growth. Intercide BTX208 has good resistance to water leaching and as such it suitable for use in a wide range of applications. The bacteriostatic activity is particularly suited to a use in PVC formulations intended for indoor use. The addition levels for Intercide BTX208 are in the range of 1.25% increasing to 2.5% for the more demanding applications.

Intercide OBF8DINPThe OIT active in Intercide OBF8DINP is designed to provide fungicidal protection and resistance to algal growth. Intercide OBF8DINP has good resistance UV but its modest resistance to water leaching renders the product most suitable for use in a wide variety of indoor applications based on calendaring, extrusion and spread coating production techniques. OIT is incorporated into Intercide OBF8DINP at the level of 8% and as such the addition levels recommended for OBF8DINP are in the range of 1.25% rising to 2.50% for the more demanding applications. Intercide OBF8DINP can be readily incorporated into the PVC formulation at the mixing or the Compounding stage.
